some info about your essaouira the paisfull city

Essaouira: A Coastal Gem in Morocco
Essaouira, also known as the “Wind City of Africa,” is a charming port town located on the western coast of Morocco, along the Atlantic Ocean. The town is surrounded by 18th-century fortified walls, designed by French architect Théodore Cornut, which give it a unique blend of Moroccan, Portuguese, and French architectural influences.
Historic Medina: The Medina of Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features narrow winding streets, whitewashed houses, and several gates.
Beaches: Essaouira is famous for its beautiful beaches, such as Cape Sim and Sidi Kaouki, which attract both locals and tourists for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports like windsurfing and kite surfing.
Fishing Harbor: The town’s bustling fishing harbor offers fresh seafood and a chance to see colorful boats and the daily catch.
Local Markets: Visitors can explore local markets to shop for Berber rugs, ceramics, spices, and other unique items.
Colorful Doors: One of the town’s distinctive features is its brightly painted doors, often in shades of blue.
Portuguese Fort: The Portuguese Fort provides stunning views of the town and its surroundings.
